They are seeking an experienced Trades Assistant to join their team from their Archerfield workshop.
What You Will Be Doing Working Monday-Friday you will be predominantly work from the Archerfield workshop.
You will be assisting Mechanical Fitters with hydraulic and mechanical repair work.
Your duties will include; Assisting with stripping, cleaning, inspection and reassembly of hydraulic cylinders and mechanical components.
Preparing tools, materials and components for workshop jobs.
Assisting with basic mechanical fitting and assembly activities under direction.
Cleaning and preparing components for repair and assembly.
Loading, unloading and moving components and equipment throughout the workshop.
Operating forklifts for materials and equipment handling.
Assisting with overhead crane and lifting activities where appropriately competent.
Using hand and power tools.
General workshop cleaning, housekeeping and labouring.
Supporting Fitters and the workshop team wherever required to maintain workflow and productivity.




What you will need Previous Trades Assistant experience in a mechanical, hydraulic, mining, heavy engineering or industrial workshop environment Mechanical aptitude Forklift ticket + experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational and time management skills What s In It For You?
