Our Host Employer, Liquip Sales , is a leader in the design, fabrication, repair and maintenance of specialised petrol tankers, trailers and fire trucks.
This is not your average automotive electrical apprenticeship.
You'll gain exposure to unique projects, specialised vehicles, and industry-leading equipment that you simply won't find in a standard workshop.
We're looking for a current 3rd or 4th Year Automotive Electrical Apprentice to join the team at their fully equipped workshop in Pinkenba, QLD .
This is an excellent opportunity for an apprentice wanting to broaden their skills, work on complex electrical systems, and learn from experienced tradespeople within the petrochemical and emergency services sectors.
Duties may include: Wiring complete fire truck bodies and electrical systems Wiring cab chassis to meet Australian fire compliance standards Installing and connecting lights, pumps, controls, sensors and auxiliary systems Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs Conducting routine inspections, testing and maintenance Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings Working safely within a busy fabrication and assembly workshop Location: Pinkenba Hours: Monday -Thursday, 6.00am-2.30pm and finishing at *****pm Fridays What's in it for you?
