You can learn more about our values and beliefs at The RoleWe are currently seeking Workplace Assessors, in community service and mental health to join our team in Brisbane for Term 3.Due to the increased demand for our courses, we are looking for assessors to do workplace visits and assessments.
This position requires four hours per student visit.
For the right applicant, this role could become a trainer and assessor in our growing college.
The role requires you to:Support students during their work placement terms and liaise with the student, host organisation and ALGConduct workplace visits whilst the students are on placementMonitor, conduct,



and mark student assessments in the workplaceQualifications and Experience:Current experience in the Mental Health and Community Service industries (preferably 3+ years)A relevant vocational qualification at the Degree or Diploma levelExcellent oral and written communication skillsAccepted Certificate IV in Training and Assessment:- TAE***** Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor- TAE***** Certificate IV in Training and Assessment- TAE***** Certificate IV in Training and Assessment- A diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education or vocational education and trainingA secondary teaching qualification and one of the following credentials:- TAESS***** Assessor Skill Set, or- TAESS***** Assessor Skill Set or its successor, or- TAESS***** VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set or its successor.Current Working with Children Check or Police CheckOwn transportExperience in teaching or training is desirable but not essentialPlease note your location and indicate where you are able and willing to travel in your applicationWhat makes working with us exciting:A supportive teamA positive and fun work environmentDiversity & InclusionWe celebrate our diversity and strive to reflect contemporary Australian society in order to better serve our students.
