The Team Role The Porter/Allied Health Assistant Grade 2 role is predominantly responsible for patient and equipment transportation around the hospital to support allied health therapies, equipment monitoring and ordering, and where appropriate support to assist in the delivery of therapy.
This role requires working with a person-centred approach to provide efficient and safe patient are within a defined scope of practice.
There will be a range of other duties, including but not limited to, cleaning, organising and maintenance of equipment, ordering supplies, data entry and collection, general cleaning of therapy spaces.
