We have full-time opportunities and fixed term contracts available across Narangba, Bracken Ridge, Petrie Terrace, Ferny Hills and Nashville (Brighton).
This isa great opportunity for experienced educators or group leaders, to progress and take the next step in their careers in leadership as an Assistant Service Manager.

ensuring the right staff are in the right place to meet operational and program needsConduct training, induction, and ongoing professional development for team members to strengthen skills, knowledge, and compliance with best practicesBuild strong relationships with children, families, schools, and the community to enhance engagement and trustMonitor and maintain service quality through audits, reflective practice, and continuous improvement initiatives, including Quality Improvement PlansPromote and uphold child safety, wellbeing, and inclusion in all service operationsManage operational, administrative, and reporting responsibilities, ensuring timely, accurate records and adherence to Jabiru policiesWho we're looking for:Diploma in School Age/Early Childhood Education & Care or other equivalent qualification as recognised by ACECQARelevant OSHC or Childcare experience with a commitment to ongoing professional developmentCurrent QLD Blue Card, First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificatesStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a teamAbility to effectively plan and manage resources, including rostering and operational managementKnowledge of quality frameworks, compliance obligations, and best practice in OSHCA values-led approach, demonstrating care, respect, collaboration, and integrity in all interactionsInclusion & Safeguarding CommitmentAt Jabiru, everyone is welcome.
