14th August, **** I'm currently seeking experienced Industrial Painters, Blasters and Painter/Blasters to join leading manufacturing, fabrication and industrial maintenance companies across Newcastle.
These opportunities involve working on large-scale mining, industrial and structural equipment in qualified workshop environments, with both ongoing positions and project-based work available.
What's on Offer Up to $56 per hour + penalties , depending on project and experience Workshop-based opportunities in Tomago and Newcastle Overtime and Saturday work available Ongoing and project-based opportunities Work with experienced teams across major mining and industrial equipment About the Role You will be responsible for a range of industrial painting and blasting duties, including:



Abrasive blasting and surface preparation Industrial spray painting and protective coating application Preparing steel and fabricated components to specification Working on large mining and industrial equipment Ensuring all work meets quality and safety requirements Following site procedures and WHS requirements About You We are interested in hearing from: Experienced Industrial Painters Experienced Blasters Painter/Blasters Painters with previous blasting experience Blasters looking to develop their painting skills To be successful, you will have: Previous industrial painting and/or abrasive blasting experience Strong understanding of surface preparation and coating systems A strong commitment to safety and quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable work ethic and willingness to work overtime when available Highly Regarded Tickets Working at Heights Confined Space EWP Gas Atmospheric Testing If you're an experienced Painter, Blaster or Painter/Blaster looking for your next opportunity in Newcastle, apply now or get in touch for more information.
