This role may require you to be available for urgent site matters outside normal working hours, including occasional weekend support.The Role Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the depot while ensuring safety, productivity and customer service standards are maintained.Your responsibilities will include:Coordinating daily depot operationsManaging the movement of equipment and materialsLiaising with drivers,



contractors and customersScheduling and coordinating maintenance activitiesAssisting with troubleshooting mechanical and operational issuesMaintaining safety and environmental complianceSupporting and coordinating depot personnelResponding to operational issues and ensuring minimal downtimeAbout YouA mechanical trade qualification or strong mechanical aptitudePrevious experience in a depot, manufacturing, transport, logistics or heavy industrial environmentStrong organisational and communication skillsThe ability to work independently and make sound operational decisionsA proactive approach to problem-solvingA strong commitment to workplace safetyCurrent Australian Driver's LicenceWorkfast is a labour-hire company working with some of Australia's largest and leading building companies.
