Working closely with the Front Office Manager, you will help drive operational excellence, deliver exceptional guest experiences and lead the team to provide outstanding service at every stage of the guest journey.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, motivate, and support the Front Office team,
fostering a positive and collaborative working environmentOversee daily operational movements, including arrivals, departures, room allocations and guest requestsAct as the first point of escalation for guest concerns, handling and resolving complaints professionally to achieve positive outcomesEnsure exceptional customer service standards are consistently delivered in line with brand expectationsCoordinate with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance and other departments to ensure seamless hotel operationsAssist with rostering, shift coordination and team performance to meet operational requirementsMonitor compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and brand standardsMaintain accurate records and reports while ensuring a high level of attention to detailSupport the Front Office Manager in driving operational excellence and continuous improvementOversee and assist with operations within the Western Sydney Convention Centre as required, ensuring a seamless and consistent guest experience across both venuesAbout YouPrevious experience as aDuty Manager (minimum 1-2 years preferred) or Assistant Front Office Manager within a hotel environmentProven experience in a Front Office leadership role, with the ability to lead, coach and motivate a high-performing teamPrevious experience using Opera PMSExceptional customer service skills and a genuine passion for creating memorable experiencesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationship with guests, colleagues and stakeholdersStrong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing prioritiesA proactive hands on approach and a positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to work collaboratively as part of a teamHold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) CertificatePossess current First Aid and CPR certificationsFlexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays and evening shifts as required
