Experienced Chef / Head Baker required to work and manage a small team in the preparation and dispatch of food from our central production factory in Bulimba to six stores and weekly markets across Brisbane.Your duties will include:Learn and control ALL aspects of production, including;Freshly produced Bagel fillings.Packaging all products ready for dispatchLogisticsControl and implement strict food safety & hygiene practices set out in our Food SafetyProgram.Implementing & recording of daily cleaning schedulesRecording of all food/fridge temperatures to comply with BCC regulations & guidelines.Training of staff in Food Safety, Hygiene and WHSOrdering and stock control.Receiving,



documenting & rotation of stock.Engaging team to reach daily production targets.Rostering.You will be required to have:5 years or more, managing Baking or food preparation.Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or equivalent)A basic understanding of Excel (Essential)Australian Drivers LicenseIn addition, you will need to be:Contactable at all times when the factory is runningPrepared to step in at anytime you can't fill a rostered positionThis position is a full time, Monday to Friday, with the possibility to step in on weekends or nightshift when necessary.
