Diesel Mechanic or Mobile Plant Technician looking to get out of the workshop and into a varied field service role, this could be exactly what you're looking for.Working predominantly across the Sunshine Coast region, you'll enjoy the autonomy of managing your own day while being supported by an experienced team behind the scenes.Every day is different as you diagnose faults, complete scheduled servicing and repairs, respond to breakdowns and help keep our customers operating safely and efficiently.An Average Week Will InvolveField Service & RepairsCarry out servicing, preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and fault finding on forklifts, telehandlers, boom lifts and scissor lifts.Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, LPG, diesel and electrical faults and complete repairs to a high standard.Customer ServiceBuild robust relationships with customers while delivering professional, responsive field service.Keep customers informed on repair progress and recommend additional maintenance where appropriate.What It TakesWe're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in quality workmanship and likes the freedom that comes with working independently.You'll BringTrade qualification (Certificate III Automotive, Diesel, Heavy Vehicle or similar, relevant qualification)Current unrestricted driver's licenceExperience servicing automotive vehicles, forklifts, mobile plant, heavy equipment or construction machineryMechanical aptitude across diesel, hydraulic, electrical and LPG systemsStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work autonomously and manage changing priorities
