We are working with a leading global organisation to in their search for a Legal & Compliance Specialist to support its the business on a 12-month contract.Reporting to the Head of Legal, this role provides comprehensive legal and compliance support across the business, advising on a broad range of commercial, regulatory and operational matters.
It involves proactively identifying and managing risk, supporting strategic and day‐to‐day decision‐making, and ensuring alignment with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
The role also plays a key part in strengthening compliance frameworks and improving legal processes to support business efficiency and growth.ResponsibilitiesProviding legal and compliance advice to stakeholders across the businessReviewing and negotiating a range of commercial agreementsSupporting the identification and management of legal and compliance risksAssisting with the implementation and ongoing management of compliance frameworks,



policies and proceduresDelivering compliance training and guidance on regulatory requirementsReviewing external communications and materials for complianceWorking with cross‐functional teams across ANZ and international officesSupporting process improvements and legal operations initiativesRequirementsQualified lawyer with experience in private practice and in‐house within a regulated industryExperience in commercial contracting and risk assessmentExposure to compliance frameworks, policies and regulatory mattersStrong organisational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and manage competing prioritiesStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience in healthcare, life sciences or other regulated industries is preferred but not essential.
