Chisholm's culture of Belonging & Inclusion strives to promote a self-regulating culture that enhances the experiences of our employees, students and communities.ABOUT THE ROLEAs a teacher - Fixed and Mobile Plant Mechanic, your key responsibilities include:Plan education practices and delivery sessions that reflect the most effective way to engage learnersEnsure that teaching materials and resources meet all regulatory standards, training packages and related requirementsEstablish and maintain a positive learning workplace, including encouraging students to take responsibility for their own learningAdapt learning and assessment materials to cater for different students, learning environments, facilities, and resourcesUndertake a range of administrative, coordination, and learning services activities directly related to the areas taughtAssist in relation to the establishment, maintenance, and review of teaching programsMaintain a respectful, and safe environment free from discrimination, bullying and harassmentABOUT YOUYou are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools.Qualifications required for the role:Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE*****)
or qualifications that meet the Standards for RTOs ****Vocational qualifications at an AQF level based on level of teaching required and be able to teach across all year levels and competencies of the tradeVocational currency as demonstrated through a range of work and related experienceRegistration with relevant professional association/s (as required for the specific discipline)A record of Vocational Competency, mapped to Units of Competency engaged to deliverA record of Professional Currency, demonstrating current industry and teaching knowledgeAgreement to obtain security clearance issued by an authorised vetting agency (Baseline Security Clearance).
