Our mission is to provide the highest standard of care and make a real difference in the communities we serve.About The Role.Our Aeromedical Evacuation Specialists (AES) are at the heart of LifeFlight's fixed‐wing operations, coordinating complex domestic and international aeromedical missions where precision, speed and care are critical.Based in our 24/7 Communications, Coordination and Control Centre in Brisbane CBD, you'll play a key role in coordinating the deployment of our jet fleet, working closely with medical teams, aviation partners, government agencies, clients and international stakeholders to deliver safe, seamless and high‐quality outcomes for patients and clients.This is a permanent full‐time position working a rotating 12‐hour, day and night roster.
It's a unique opportunity to combine your aviation and coordination expertise with work that has a genuine and meaningful impact.In This Role, You WillCoordinate complex domestic and international aeromedical jet missions, including crewing, aviation services and logistical requirementsIdentify, assess and mitigate operational, medical and environmental risks to support safe and effective mission deliveryCoordinate international requirements, including visas, customs, immigration and overseas arrangementsLiaise with clients, medical facilities, airlines, embassies, government agencies and other stakeholders to ensure seamless mission coordinationMaintain accurate mission documentation, records and operational reporting, ensuring information is timely and compliantMonitor and respond to changing operational requirements, adapting plans and priorities to support safe and effective outcomesCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes for patients, clients, and crewsIf you thrive in a fast-paced operational environment,

You bring strong aviation knowledge, sound judgement and a practical approach to coordinating complex operations, with the communication skills to build effective relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders.You'll Also BringExperience in corporate or business jet operations, including international missions, visas, customs, immigration and overseas coordinationStrong planning, organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accurate documentation and reportingExcellent communication and relationship‐building skills, with the confidence to work effectively with clients, medical teams, aviation partners, government agencies and international stakeholdersSound knowledge of aviation regulations, operational procedures and compliance requirements, with a strong focus on safety and risk managementA practical, solutions-focused approach, with the ability to assess changing situations, identify risks and make informed decisions under pressureA collaborative and client-focused approach, with a commitment to high-quality service and continuous improvement and positive patient outcomesConfidence using Microsoft applications and operational systems, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologyAbove all, you'll be adaptable, detail-focused and motivated by the opportunity to contribute to LifeFlight's lifesaving mission.
