Our values-driven team of allied health therapists, therapy assistants and admin staff work collaboratively to support children, teens and families in meaningful, neuroaffirming ways.Our Speech Pathology service launched in **** and has grown quickly, with robust demand from families who value collaborative and accessible care.
We're now expanding our speech team and are looking for clinicians who want to be part of building something thoughtful, sustainable, and well-supported within an established multidisciplinary clinic.We have strong team retention and engagement — because Playology is a workplace where clinicians feel supported, valued, and resourced to do their best work.What We OfferProfessional growth: $2,000 pro rata PD budget + one week (pro rata) paid study leave + fortnightly supervision with SP clinical lead + weekly case conferencesIn-house PD series: "Growing Together" series with guest facilitators ***** included DIR/Floortime, Learn to Play, Bridges Out of Poverty + more).
This series is in addition to personal PD budgets and time.Collaboration: work alongside psychologists, OTs, therapy assistants, and onsite partnersFlexibility: realistic workloads and a calendar that works for youYour RoleDeliver high-quality, neuroaffirming speech pathology supports to children and adolescentsAssess and support speech, language, literacy,
feeding and social communication needsProvide therapy that is strengths-based, practical, and embedded into everyday environmentsCollaborate with psychologists, OTs and therapy assistants to support generalisation of skillsContribute to multidisciplinary formulation and team discussionKeep records up to date and contribute to a positive, supportive team culturePartner with therapy assistants to embed strategies in natural settingsAbout YouQualified Speech Pathologist, with Speech Pathology Australia membershipAllied Health Award Level 2 or Level 3 experience (or ready to step into either level).

We are a clinic-based service, but value working alongside children's natural environments as required (e.g. observation sessions, care team meetings, etc.)Special interest in early communication, literacy, and/or feedingTraining (or interest) in orofacial myology.
