Civmec has been engaged to deliver critical civil and electrical works supporting FMG's transition to electric mining fleets.Scope of WorkInstallation of LME and SME electric charger facilities (DC and AC systems)Civil construction works: earthworks pads, trenching, drainage, site layoutsInstallation and integration of transportable pit power substations with 33kV powerlinesDeployment of field switches and in‐pit electrical infrastructure for electric excavators, drills, and mobile assetsThe RoleOversee and manage HSE aspects of both Civil and Electrical worksSupport risk identification and management processes to ensure work activities are reduced to ALARP (As Low as Reasonably Practicable)Lead incident investigations and communicate findings to project and management teamsDevelop, implement, and coordinate HSE standards, programs,
and proceduresEnsure all project activities, processes, and systems comply with relevant legislation and the Corporate Compliance MatrixStay informed of legislative changes and apply updates to company standards, procedures, and plansMonitor, communicate, and implement regulatory updates as requiredAssist in hazard investigations, ensuring corrective actions address root causes and prevent recurrenceAbout YouPrevious experience in a similar HSE role within construction or heavy industry projectsStrong knowledge of WHS legislation and best practicesCommitment to safety, integrity, and teamworkCert IV or Diploma in OHSICAM or Taproot CertificationPrevious use of HSE databasesAbility to communicate with a range of key stakeholders and role membersAbility to work autonomously and collaboratively in remote environmentsBenefitsWe offer an inclusive workplace built on family values, with a "Never Assume" culture.
