WSP is looking for enthusiastic Entry‐Level Lab Technicians to join our Construction Materials Testing team.

You'll be supported with on‐the‐job training, mentoring, and real career pathways, so you're never left figuring things out on your own.What you'll do:You'll play an important part in helping our labs deliver accurate, high‐quality test results that support major construction and infrastructure projects across Australia.
Expect variety, hands‐on work, and plenty of learning.
Your responsibilities will include:Carrying out routine field and lab testing on soil, aggregate, rock, and other materials to meet National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) standardsWorking with specialist equipment such as nuclear densometers, compaction tools, and moreSetting up, maintaining, and calibrating laboratory equipmentHelping with the receiving, logging, storing,



and disposal of samplesSupporting project deadlines and communicating with internal clients along the wayThis is a role where you'll develop real technical skills from day one—skills that can lead to senior technician roles, site-based roles, or even engineering pathways.What we'll love about you:To be successful in this role you will possess a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
You will be providing ongoing support to the laboratory team and delivering results to clients.You will ideally possess the following:A team player with initiative, enthusiasm and flexibilityGood communication skills and able to follow instructionsImmediate startConstruction Induction (white card)Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques or willingness to undertakeWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office programsBasic mathematical skills to at least year 10 LevelCommitment to working safelyAll candidates will need to complete a pre-employment medical and Drug and Alcohol test successfully prior to commencement of the position.
