Role SummaryWe are looking for an experienced SAP Retail / SAP SD Lead to drive end‐to‐end solution design, implementation, and delivery across retail transformation programs.
The role involves leading SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) and IS‐Retail capabilities, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and managing cross‐functional teams across large‐scale implementations and rollouts.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end‐to‐end SAP SD and Retail solution design, including Order‐to‐Cash (OTC), merchandising, and supply chain processesDefine architecture, integrations, and data migration strategies for SAP Retail programsDrive global template design and rollout strategies across regions and market unitsProvide expert guidance on SAP IS‐Retail, SAP CAR, and retail‐specific functionalitiesLead full lifecycle SAP implementations (Explore → Realize → Deploy → Hypercare)Manage FIT‐GAP analysis, business blueprinting, and solution configurationOversee testing phases (SIT, UAT) and ensure production readinessEnsure high‐quality delivery within timelines, budget, and scopeEngage with senior business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate into SAP solutionsConduct workshops, design sessions, and steering discussionsAct as the primary functional SME for SAP SD & RetailLead and mentor a team of SAP functional consultants across SD and Retail modulesManage onshore/offshore delivery models and cross‐functional coordinationEnsure adherence to project standards, governance, and quality frameworksLead key SD processes including:Sales order management, pricing, billing, and deliveryOrder‐to‐Cash (OTC) lifecycle and logistics executionDrive integration with MM, FI, WM/EWM,



and external systemsEnable retail capabilities such as:Merchandising, replenishment, and inventory managementSAP CAR / PMR / F&R; (Forecast & Replenishment)Recommend improvements to existing IT landscapes and business processesStay updated with SAP S/4HANA, SAP CAR, and emerging retail technologiesIdentify automation opportunities and process optimization initiativesRequired Skills & Experience8–12+ years of SAP experience with robust expertise in SAP SD and Retail (IS‐Retail)Proven experience leading multiple SAP implementations or rolloutsStrong knowledge of OTC processes, pricing, billing, and logistics executionHands‐on experience in:SAP SD configuration (pricing, billing, delivery, master data)SAP IS‐Retail solutions and retail business processesExperience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP CAR / PMR / F&R; is highly preferredStrong integration knowledge across MM, FI, and external systemsStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to lead large, cross‐functional teamsStrong problem‐solving, analytical, and decision‐making capabilitiesExperience in client‐facing consulting roles and workshop facilitationPreferred QualificationsSAP certification in SD / S/4HANA / RetailExperience in global template rollouts and multi‐country programsRetail domain experience (e.g., grocery, fashion,
