There will be coffee, snacks, good waiting-room music and, yes, a kettle.The roleWe're looking for a caring and capable Registered Nurse (Division 1) to join our team during a maternity leave placement for one of our beloved nurses.Although this is a 12 month placement, it will likely be an ongoing role for 2-3 days a week.You'll work closely with our GPs, reception team and other clinical staff to create a calm, welcoming and well-organised experience for patients.Organisation and initiative are a big part of excellent GP nursing.
This is a busy, hands-on role at the front line of patient care, balancing patient-facing work with clinic operations, stock management and preparation for procedures.What you'll be doingProviding general nursing care, wound management and health assessments (HCC, *****, 75+ HA)Preparing, reviewing and managing chronic disease care plans (GPCCMP)Results recalls, reminders and follow-up careIndependently performing vaccinations under GP's instructionsIron infusions (Cannulation skill is a must!)Assisting GPs with procedures including IUDs, Implanon, skin excisions and suturingManaging stock,



cold-chain processes and day-to-day clinical operationsSupporting clinic administration and helping keep systems, workflows and checklists up to dateWho are we looking for?
