You will carry your own caseload from first conference through to hearing, with support from senior practitioners who are genuinely invested in your development.You will be based across both our Birtinya and Nambour offices, with the flexibility to work from home part of each week.What you'll doManage a wide-ranging criminal defence caseload — traffic, drug, property, domestic violence and indictable mattersAppear in the Magistrates Court and instruct Counsel in higher courtsPrepare briefs,



submissions and sentencing materialBuild and maintain client and referrer relationships across the Sunshine CoastAbout youAdmitted as a solicitor in Queensland (or eligible for admission) and hold, or be eligible for, a current practising certificate(1–5)+ years' post-admission experience in criminal law — we will also consider strong junior applicants with clear criminal law exposureConfident advocate, or ready to beExcellent written and verbal communication, and sound judgement under pressureCurrent driver's licence and willingness to work across both officesWhat we offerHybrid working — Birtinya, Nambour and from homeEarly and regular court appearances, not just file preparationA collegiate, long-established firm where you are a name, not a numberLifestyle you can't get in the city — beaches, hinterland and a short commute
