Our brands include Cooee Native Superfoods, Creative Native and Cooee Pet Care, supplying leading Australian retailers, food manufacturers and blue-chip customers.We're now looking for an experienced Finance Manager to work directly with our CFO and help build the finance function that will support our next stage of growth.If you're looking for a role where you'll genuinely influence the business—not just report on it—this is it.About the roleReporting directly to the CFO, you'll become the operational backbone of our finance function across multiple entities.This is far more than a traditional Finance Manager role.
Alongside owning the finance operations, you'll gain exposure to strategic finance that most accountants don't see until much later in their careers.You'll work alongside the CFO on areas including:Board reportingCommercial financeCashflow strategyBanking and fundingFinancial modellingFuture capital raising initiativesBusiness planning and growth strategyYou'll have genuine ownership, visibility and the chance to help build systems, processes and controls from the ground up.Key responsibilitiesYou'll be responsible for:Owning the month-end close across multiple entitiesPreparing consolidated management reportsManaging a rolling 13-week cashflow forecastPayroll oversight and complianceBAS, IAS, GST,



PAYG and statutory reportingWorkers Compensation and regulatory complianceSupporting budgeting and forecastingBusiness partnering with operational leadersManaging and mentoring the BookkeeperImproving finance systems, controls and processesSupporting audits and year-end reportingAbout youWe're looking for someone who enjoys being hands‐on while also wanting to grow into a broader commercial finance role.You'll bring:CA or CPA qualified (or nearing completion)2+ years' experience in a senior finance, management accountant or financial accountant roleStrong month-end and management reporting experienceSolid Australian tax and compliance knowledgeExcellent Excel and financial systems skillsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsA proactive mindset and genuine curiosity to improve processesExperience within FMCG, manufacturing or multi-entity businesses will be highly regarded.Why join Cooee?
