We are a family owned and operated business for over 35 years, and are based in Surry Hills, Sydney.About the roleFull Time Mon-Fri, with Hybrid role (Mon-Wed in the office close to Sydney's Central Station, Thu-Fri WFH)Join the team at Sun Island Tours as a full-time Wholesale Travel Adviser.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating and curating our range of holiday packages and tour offerings to our customers.
As a key member of our reservations team, you'll be able to use your passion and knowledge of the Mediterranean region to create unforgettable holidays for our customers.What you'll be doingSpeaking to both retail travel agents and travellers, and creating holidays that include touring, cruising, and other arrangements throughout the MediterraneanResearching and understanding destinations, sightseeing and cultures to provide authentic and interesting itinerariesProviding exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are metCollaborating with the marketing team to promote products through various channelsProviding feedback and suggestions to improve our product range and processesWhat we are looking forExtensive,



first-hand travel experience throughout the Mediterranean or a proven track record of selling these specific destinations professionallyMinimum of 1 year of comprehensive experience in the travel industry, preferably in a wholesale, retail, or reservations environment.Strong customer service skills with an ability to build strong qualified relationships with our repeat clientsAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environmentExceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skillsProficient in using MS Office suitePassion for travel and delivering exceptional customer experiencesWhat we offerAt Sun Island Tours, we pride ourselves on creating a positive and supportive work culture.
