Job DescriptionGrimshaw Signs is currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Signwriter to join their team in Wangaratta Vic.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:Engaging in discussions with clients and assessing proposals, sketches, and written instructions to determine the composition of signageUtilizing computer software and signmaking machinery to design and produce signs and graphicsCrafting signs by measuring and calculating letter sizes, prepping surfaces, applying background paint using brushes, sprays, or rollers, and fashioning letters with brushes, stencils, enamel paint, and decalsDeveloping wall murals, screen prints, gold leaf work, and custom vehicle artApplying lacquers, varnishes, paints, and various materials for sign and lettering paintingPainting signs on various surfaces such as brick,



metal, wood, glass, plastic, and othersConstructing and installing three-dimensional signsCreating cost estimates for labor and materialsPossibly working on scaffolding when neededPotentially installing signs at in office locationsSkills and AbilitiesIdeally have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a SignwriterCertificate III in Signs and Graphics or other relevant qualificationAbility to work in a team environmentSalary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience Fulltime Position available.Application opens on 28th of July **** and closes on 28th of August ****.
