Kurbingui's vision is to be a deadly organisation that supports our mob on their journey - empowering community to reach their potential through cultural values, flexibility, and strength.About the RoleThe Employment & Training Project Support Practitioner plays a central role in delivering Kurbingui's Employment and Training programs, including the Skilling Queenslanders for Work (SQW) Program and Tailored Assistance Employment Program (TAEP).
Reporting to the Line Manager/Program Manager, this role supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (and non-Indigenous) job seekers to build skills, gain qualifications, and transition successfully into the workforce.
Balancing practical participant support with administrative responsibilities, the Project Support Practitioner works from a culturally safe, strength-based approach to achieve positive employment and training outcomes.Key DutiesSupport the delivery of SQW and TAEP programs, including development of Individual Support Plans for participantsEngage and guide trainees through daily training and program participation activitiesMaintain accurate and timely program administration, including timesheets, records management, and reportingIdentify and implement referral pathways and support options for participantsSupport cultural excursions and activities; work collaboratively with Elders and Cultural MentorsBuild and maintain productive relationships with RTOs, GTOs, host agencies, and other stakeholdersSupport program compliance and quality outcomes across all Employment & Training servicesUphold workplace health, safety, organisational policies and procedures,
