We aim to build a workplace people want to stay at long term.About the RoleAs part of our three-person team, you'll work closely with the owner and our apprentice across a genuine mix of residential, commercial, and government installation projects throughout Sydney.
Because we're a small, hands-on crew rather than a large impersonal outfit, you'll see projects through from start to finish and have real input into how the job gets done.
You will be responsible for:Installing a full range of systems — split and multi-head, ducted, VRV/VRF, and package units — across both commercial and residential sitesRunning pipework, ductwork, electrical connections and controls to a high standardCommissioning systems to manufacturer specifications,



working independently once on siteCarrying out quality checks and handling client handover professionally, representing the business directly to customersKeeping compliance and job documentation up to date digitally through SimPROMentoring and working alongside our apprentice, helping bring them up to speed on-siteGiven the size of the team, you won't be one of many installers on a job — you'll be trusted with real responsibility from day one, with direct access to the owner rather than layers of management.All work is based in Sydney.What We're Looking ForCurrent Driver's LicenceProven experience installing split systems through to package unitsExperience across both commercial and residential installationsAbility to diagnose HVAC system'sAbility to commission systems independentlyAbility to work independently and manage your day effectivelyPride in workmanship and presentationHighly Regarded:High Experience with VRV/VRF installationsElectrical disconnect/reconnect licenceLeadership capability or mentoring apprenticesWhat Makes Someone Successful at Southern X Services Group?
