A well-established Australian switchboard manufacturer is looking for an experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of switchboard manufacturing projects from order intake through to delivery.About the RoleIf you have come from a switchboard manufacturer or closely related environment and thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing setting, this is worth a look.ResponsibilitiesReviewing contracts, specifications and client requirements at project handover from estimatingDeveloping project schedules and managing delivery milestones in collaboration with engineering and operationsHanding over to and managing the design team through the detailed engineering phaseReviewing and approving engineering deliverables prior to client submissionManaging procurement of equipment and materials to ensure best price and timely delivery to the factory floorCoordinating workshop handover and monitoring projects as they move through manufacturingSubmitting RFIs, EOTs, NODs and variations in line with contract requirementsManaging project budgets,



cost forecasts and margin performanceCoordinating FAT scheduling and supporting QA and testing processesPresenting project status at weekly operations meetings and reporting to managementMaintaining strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycleQualificationsProven experience as a Project Manager or senior Project Engineer in a switchboard manufacturing or closely related OEM electrical environment.Required SkillsStrong technical understanding of LV switchboards, MCCs and power distribution systemsComfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a high-volume, quick-paced manufacturing settingExperience with contract administration including RFIs, EOTs, NODs and variationsCommercially aware with solid budget, cost forecast and margin management experienceStrong client-facing and stakeholder communication skillsFamiliarity with AS/NZS ***** and relevant Australian standardsSiemens Sivacon product knowledge is a strong advantageFull Australian working rightsPay range and compensation package$140,000 to $160,000 + super | Full-time, on-site
