Denman Medical Practice is seeking a full or part time Registered Nurse to join our team.
This role will be Monday – Friday, with set days and work hours to be discussed during the interview process.
The successful candidate will be covering for our current full time Registered Nurse while she is on maternity leave and will then continue when she returns part time.Wages will be paid in accordance with the Nurses Award and will reflect the successful candidate's level of experience and skills.
This role will include a 6-month probationary period.Daily Duties may include, but are not limited to:Triage and emergency patient careMedication administration including injectable medications and vaccinesWound care managementVenepunctureOther duties to be discussed during the interview processTo be successful in this role,



you will have:Current AHPRA registration as a Registered NurseMinimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse with experience preferred in General PracticeEvidence ofappropriateand continuing Professional Indemnity InsuranceCurrent CPR certificateCurrent Working with Children CheckCurrent National Police CheckCurrently residing in Australia (We are unable to provide sponsorship for overseas applicants)Eligibility to work in AustraliaNurse Immunisation certification (or willingness to obtain)Venepuncture qualification (or willingness to obtain)Other Attributes:Competency in wound care, medication administration and cold chain managementDesired competencies: Ear Syringing, Cervical Screening TestingExcellent clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred careExcellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressureThe ability to work autonomously and as part of a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and the practice teamProficient in using clinical software and technology to support patient careCommitment to continuous learning and professional developmentFlexibility to cover shifts during leave periods if required
