The Role: High reach Forklift OperatorThis role will be a ***** role where you will be required to complete manual handling duties off of the forklift as well.
This is not a high speed fast paced workplace.Packing duties:No 2 days will be the same in these roles!
Your duties will vary daily across all facets of warehousing operational tasks.Picking orders VIA paper pick slip and RF ScannersWrapping and strapping products and palletsManual Handling of furniture productsPalletising stockGeneral warehouse cleaning up of wrapping rubbish and discarding product boxesRe stacking palletsLoading and unloading trucks and containersHeavy lifting up to 20 kgsMatching paper work to customer ordersChecking final paperwork against orders going outYour main forklift duties will involve:High reach forklift 6 racks high (some double deep racking as well)Replens, picking and putawaysPicking oversized furniture products and ugly freightYou will have the assistance from a labourer for all picking and pallet consolidationsPicking VIA pick slip and RF scanningCross checking paper work against orders and signing for delivery to storesCounter balance forkliftLoading and unloading trucks and containersReceiving and Despatch workYou will be assisted by a Labourer for all Large items needing to be picked and pallet consolidationsThe Candidate:To be successful in obtaining this role you will have the following experience:3+ years High reach and Counter Balance forklift operating experienceExperience loading and unloading trucks and containersReplenishment, put away and picking experienceWorking with bulky goods, furniture and ugly freightPick packingRF Scanning ExperiencePalletising stockShrink wrapping (Both manual and machine operated)Excellent attention to detailPrevious experience in a fast-paced environmentExcellent WHS knowledgeHeavy lifting up to 20 kgsThe ability to read and follow plans
