We are seeking an experienced Scaffold Leading Hand for Brisbane and Gold Coast region.
This role will be responsible forcoordinating scaffolders, running prestart meetings, ensuring daily operations progress efficiency,along with successful execution of project management plans to ensure that scopes of works are completed safely, as per schedule, to the required quality and client specification, and within budget estimates in terms of labour and materials.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESComprehend and work with complex instructions, designs, and engineering plans.Lead your crew and conduct daily toolbox/prestart meetingsCoordinate scaffolders, materials and site activitiesEnsure pallets are stacked, strapped and ready for transportMaintain correct signage and compliance at all timesPromote a positive safety culture.
Maintain up to date knowledge of and ensure compliance with specified building codes along with relevant OHS and environmental legislation.Identify hazards and escalate issues when neededEnsure project targets and critical dates are met.Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients.Keep updated on current and existing Company Policies, communicate performance expectations,



and ensure field service employees are adhering to requirements.Complete all relevant paperwork within anticipated timeframe, utilising the company systems, software and processes.THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVECurrent White/Blue CardCurrent High Risk Work License (SI or SA)Current Working at HeightsMinimum 2+ years scaffolding leading hand experiencePrevious experience in a similar roleAble to read scopes and work from plansAbility to produce material lists based of plans and site requirementsStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to meet production hour targetsSolid safety knowledge and OH&S; understandingAbility to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding of all levelsStrong computer and systems skills/knowledgeREMUNERATION - CASUAL ROLE$60 - $65/hr dependent on experience + penalties and travel.Be careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
