We are an ophthalmology practice in Warrnambool, that provides a supportive and respectful working environment while we care for our patients, many of whom are elderly.
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and proactive individual to join our team as a Clinic Assistant.This role is a regular 2 days per fortnight to start (Friday and following Monday), with opportunity for more days as the clinic expands.What you'll be doingGreeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional mannerMaintaining accurate clinical records and help to ensure a smooth patient flowPerforming basic clinical tests and imagingWorking closely with and assisting the Ophthalmic proceduresAssisting with general office duties and administrative tasksProviding a high level of customer service at all timesQualifications & expectationsThe successful candidate will need to display high motivation and be proactive and eager to learn.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently after training.Experience in a clinical setting is preferred but is not a requirement, as all training will be provided on site.Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.A high level of commitment to the role and a proactive attitude.A strong team player who works well with colleagues in a fast-paced workplace.What we offerA friendly and supportive team environmentOn-the-job training and skill developmentStable working hours and a long-term career opportunity in healthcareThe chance to make a meaningful impact on patients' livesIf you're enthusiastic, people-focused, and ready to be part of a caring and professional team, we'd love to hear from you.Be careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
