Accredited Practising Dietitian – Community Aged Care and NDISYour Physio Advantage is expanding its community allied health services and is seeking an Accredited Practising Dietitian to establish and develop our dietetics service across the Central Coast and Newcastle/Hunter regions.This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and growing multidisciplinary allied health provider supporting older people and people living with disability.We are initially seeking a Dietitian to join us on a for approximately two days per week, allowing the role and caseload to grow sustainably.

Services may be delivered in clients' homes, community settings and by telehealth.The role will include:Completing comprehensive nutritional assessmentsDeveloping practical, evidence-based nutrition plansSupporting clients experiencing malnutrition, unintentional weight loss, frailty or reduced appetiteProviding disability-related nutrition assessment and interventionSupporting clients with diabetes and other chronic health conditionsProviding advice regarding enteral nutrition where within your experience and scopeEducating families, carers and support workersPreparing clinical reports and recommendations for NDIS and aged care funding bodiesCollaborating with GPs, speech pathologists, nurses, occupational therapists,
physiotherapists and other health professionalsContributing to the development of Your Physio Advantage's dietetics service and clinical pathwaysAbout youWe are seeking a Dietitian who is compassionate, organised and confident working independently in the community.You will have:A recognised tertiary qualification in nutrition and dieteticsCurrent Accredited Practising Dietitian status with Dietitians AustraliaProfessional indemnity and public liability insurance, or eligibility to be covered under our organisational policiesA current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicleStrong written communication and clinical report-writing skillsAn understanding of person-centred and goal-directed careThe ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, carers and multidisciplinary teamsA commitment to high-quality clinical documentation and professional standardsExperience in community aged care, Support at Home, disability or the NDIS would be highly regarded but is not essential.Dietitians with hospital, rehabilitation, private practice or community health experience who are interested in transitioning into community work are encouraged to apply.About Your Physio AdvantageYour Physio Advantage is a locally owned multidisciplinary allied health provider delivering home visit physiotherapy, occupational therapy and remedial massage services across the Central Coast, Lake Macquarie, Newcastle, the Hunter and Port Stephens.Our team supports older people to remain protected and independent at home and assists people living with disability to achieve meaningful health and participation goals.Our values are:Care – Accountability – Rapport – ExcellenceWe are committed to providing clinicians with flexibility, professional support and the resources required to deliver excellent care.Join a growing allied health team and help us build a high-quality community dietetics service for older people and people living with disability.
