This role is critical to ensuring the safe, efficient and compliant movement, storage and coordination of products and transport assets on site while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.If you're a proactive leader with strong organisational skills and a passion for safety, efficiency and team development, this is your opportunity to step into a key role within a rapidly expanding team.About the Role The Yard & Transport Supervisor is responsible for coordinating daily yard and transport functions, ensuring the efficient utilisation of yard resources, mobile plant and transport assets.
With a strong focus on safety, compliance and accuracy, you will oversee load scheduling, truck loading/unloading, inventory control and subcontractor management.
Communication is critical; you will act as the central link between production, transport providers, site leadership and yard staff-ensuring smooth operations, timely information flow and continuous improvement across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational & Transport Management Oversee daily load scheduling, truck loading/unloading and transport coordination Ensure compliance with all Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation Drive cost improvements through effective fleet and asset utilisation Manage relationships with transport providers and subcontractorsYard & Inventory Control Maintain accurate daily stock reconciliations,
