This gives our team the opportunity to work closely with the owners, construction managers, supervisors, consultants and interior designers from early design through to completion.We are looking for an experienced Architectural Draftsperson or Building Designer to join our Nerang office and take ownership of residential and commercial drafting and documentation.The RoleThis is a hands-on role suited to someone who is organised and practical.Your responsibilities will include:Preparing concept plans, design development drawings and construction documentationProducing detailed residential and commercial drawing packagesUpdating drawings following site, design and construction changesCoordinating architectural drawings with structural, civil, hydraulic,



electrical and other consultantsPreparing documentation for building approvals and consultant submissionsReviewing consultant drawings and identifying clashes or missing informationMaintaining accurate drawing registers, revisions and project filesSupporting construction supervisors with details and clarificationWorking with the interiors team on finishes, layouts and selectionsAttending project and design meetingsWhat We Are Looking ForPrevious experience in architectural drafting, building design or construction documentationStrong experience producing detailed construction drawingsResidential drafting experience is essentialCommercial or industrial experience will be highly regardedStrong understanding of Australian construction methods and documentationGood knowledge of the NCC, Australian Standards and approval processesAbility to coordinate consultants and manage drawing revisionsStrong attention to detailAbility to identify issues before they reach sitePractical construction knowledge and an understanding of buildabilityAble to manage multiple projects and changing prioritiesClear communication and strong follow-throughSoftwareExperience with the following will be highly regarded:ArchicadAutoCAD3D Rendering SoftwareMicrosoft OfficeMonday.com or similar project-management softwarePlease clearly state which drafting software you are proficient in.What We OfferWork directly on high-end residential and commercial developmentsProjects from initial concept through to final constructionClose access to company owners and key decision-makersStable full time positionVaried work across residential, industrial and property developmentOpportunity to have genuine input into how projects are designed and builtSalary package based on experience and capabilityBe careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
