Job DescriptionWe are seeking an organised and motivated Kitchen Steward to join our energetic team in the Kitchen Department.
Working under the guidance of the Executive Chef, you'll ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitised, maintaining them in ready-for-use condition.
Your responsibilities include operating a commercial size dishwasher, handling food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
You will also need to adhere to the Food Safety Program and manage shift operations when required.Wash dishes, utensils, pots and pansClean and sanitise kitchen equipment, benches, floors and storage areasDispose of waste correctly and manage recyclingMaintain cleanliness in accordance with food and safety and WHS standardsAssist in food preparation and storageUse chemicals safely and effectivelyAbout the EmployerK'gari is a World Heritage listed island off Fraser Coast, Queensland, Australia.
