ATD Civil Group Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Estimator - Civil Construction to join our team on a full-time basis in Wodonga, VIC.
This is a strategic role that plays a crucial part in our business operations, responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tender documentation for civil construction projects.
As an Estimator, you will be instrumental in supporting our project teams, ensuring competitive pricing, and contributing to the successful growth of ATD Civil Group Pty Ltd.What you'll be doingPreparing detailed cost estimates and quotations for civil construction projects of varying complexity and scaleAnalysing project specifications, drawings, and technical documentation to determine material, labour, and plant requirementsConducting site inspections and assessments to gather information relevant to estimate preparationLiaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing information and quotationsCompiling and reviewing tender documentation to ensure accuracy and completenessMaintaining and updating estimating databases, cost records, and historical project dataCollaborating with project managers and senior management to refine estimates and discuss project feasibilityIdentifying cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions for projectsPreparing tender submissions within agreed timescales and budgetsSupporting the bidding process and providing post-tender analysis where requiredWhat we're looking forProven experience working as an Estimator within the civil construction industry, preferably with 3+ years in a similar roleStrong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and industry standardsProficiency in estimating software (Expert Estimator) and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word,
