Our solutions include managed BYOD and 1:1 device programs, interactive displays and AV, ICT infrastructure and networking, device repairs and warranty support, and technology consulting for school leadership teams.With more than a decade of experience and hundreds of school customers, Edunet is known for practical advice, personalised service and solutions tailored to the needs of each school.Learn more at DescriptionThe Business Development Executive is a full-time, hybrid role based in Greater Melbourne, with flexibility to work from home when suitable.The role is focused on identifying and developing new business opportunities with K–12 schools, while also building strong, long-term relationships with existing customers.Day to day, you will:Identify, prospect and qualify new sales opportunitiesMeet with school leaders, ICT teams and other key stakeholdersPresent Edunet's products, services and broader technology solutionsPrepare quotes, proposals and tender responsesManage opportunities through the full sales cycle, from first contact through to closeMaintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipelineWork closely with internal sales, technical, operations and support teamsHelp ensure a smooth handover from sale through to implementation and ongoing supportContribute to sales forecasting,
reporting and business planningKeep up to date with education technology trends, customer needs and competitor activityThis is a relationship-led sales role suited to someone who enjoys getting out to schools, understanding their challenges and helping them find practical technology solutions.Qualifications and ExperienceDemonstrated experience in business development, account management or sales, ideally within education, technology or a related industryCandidates must have a valid Victorian Working with Childerns cardStrong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skillsA consultative approach to sales, with the ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable solutionsThe ability to explain technology products and services in transparent, straightforward languageExperience managing a sales pipeline and using a CRMConfidence preparing professional quotes, proposals and tender responsesStrong written and verbal communication skillsConfidence presenting to customers and delivering product or solution demonstrationsA proactive, organised and self-motivated approachThe ability to manage multiple opportunities, priorities and deadlinesAn collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with sales, technical and support teamsAn understanding of the K–12 education sector, or a genuine interest in learning about how schools operateA primary Australian driver licence and willingness to travel to schools across Greater Melbourne and occasionally further afieldA qualification in business, marketing, education, IT or a related field would be well regarded, but is not essential
