This hands-on role will see you be part of an operational team that will be supportive, driving customer service across VictoriaWhat you'll be doingReceiving, picking, and packing goods that require manual strapping and packing.Dispatching of orders, which includes loading trucks.Liaising effectively with stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials and productsSort, organise, and store materials and products in designated areas according to established proceduresMaintain accurate inventory records, conducting stocktakes and cycle counts as required.Assist in the preparation of outgoing shipments by selecting, packing,



and loading goodsManage all associated paperwork.Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environmentCollaborate with the warehouse team to optimise workflow and improve efficiency.General Housekeeping when required.What we're looking forPrevious experience in a warehouse or material handling role.Dedicated approach to customer requirements and overall service delivery.Ability to work autonomouslyOperational experience in SteelOperation of industrial trucks, forklift licence and experience with overhead cranes, moving industrial materials at varying heights.Solid attention to detail, problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.Good communication and teamwork skills with a demonstrated ability to work together to achieve our desired business outcomes.Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to problem-solvingAbout usRemington Steel is a leading distributor of high-quality steel products.
