Goodyear Autocare Coffs Harbour is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Light Vehicle Auto Technician to join our dynamic team on either a part or full-time basis.

As an Auto Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring every vehicle that leaves our workshop is safe, reliable and meets or exceeds customer expectations.What you'll be doingDiagnosing vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment and mechanical knowledgePerforming routine maintenance including log book and general servicingRepairing and replacing vehicle components and carrying out general mechanical repairsConducting pre- and post-repair inspections to ensure work quality and safety standardsCompleting job cards accurately and communicating repair requirements and progress to customersMaintaining a clean and organised workshop environment in compliance with health and safety regulationsKeeping up to date with vehicle technology and repair techniques relevant to modern automobilesWorking collaboratively with other technicians and workshop staff to meet customer deadlinesAdhering to all safety procedures and best practice standards in the automotive industryWhat we're looking forA light vehicle automotive qualification is essential as is a current MVRL licence for NSWMinimum 3 years experience as an Auto Technician in a similar workshop or service environmentStrong technical knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension and electrical componentsProficiency in using diagnostic equipment and workshop toolsExcellent problem-solving abilities and high attention to detailStrong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers and staffA commitment to health and safety compliance and best practice standardsPhysical capability to perform the duties of the role, including working in various positions and lifting componentsWhat we offerWe provide competitive remuneration commensurate with experience and qualifications.You will have access to modern diagnostic equipment and tools to support your work.Professional development opportunities to enhance your technical skills and knowledge.The chance to work with a well-established brand known for quality and reliability.About usGoodyear Autocare Coffs Harbour is part of the Goodyear family, a globally recognised leader in tyre and automotive services.
