GMP has recently expanded production capacity and automation to meet increasing demand, especially during the peak spring lamb season.About the RoleThese are hands-on roles in our modern meat processing facility.
No prior experience or qualifications are required.
You will be provided with on-the-job training and have the opportunity to advance within the business.Packing and handling meat products on the production lineFollowing customer requirements,



pack meat products in different packaging formats, i.e., vac pack, thermo pack, and bulk pack.General labouring duties on the Lamb floor, CoProducts and the Boning Room, i.e., cleaning the production areas to ensure hygiene requirements are maintained, offal wash station, removal of ear tags, and sorting of skins, etc.Net and string meat products in accordance with daily cut plansOperate machinery in accordance with SOP/WIStunner OperatorWeigh the product and ensure the correct weight is displayed on the product labelSorting and inspecting offal for defects (liver fluke, etc.)Following daily cut plansWorking to chain speedWorking safely and efficiently in a team environmentSupporting production outcomes and assisting co-workers as neededWhat We're Looking ForAre reliable, punctual, and committed to attending work dailyHave a strong work ethic and positive attitudeCan follow instructions and work as part of a teamAre able to work in a multicultural environmentHave the legal right to work in AustraliaGMP offers in office training and upskilling opportunities.
