Silverstrand is seeking an HR Coordinator looking to become a key part in shaping the future of our business alongside an experienced team.
You will be based in our Brisbane Head Office and employed on a permanent basis.About The RoleCreate and distribute key communications to keep the team informed about HR updates and initiatives – including monthly newsletters, monthly awards, policy roll outs, etc.Delivering inductions to office-based employees.Training Coordination - office and project-based coordination with external suppliers.Employee lifecycle stages - Assist with various HR functions, including induction, development, retention, and separation.Coordinate subsidies and funding from schemes including Government, Apprentice and Training organisations.Assist with developing people and culture pieces and implementing them throughout the Company.Maintain the Labour Hire licence reporting across the Company.Provide HR guidance and support.Ensure compliance with laws and policies - Uphold adherence to relevant employment and safety regulations,



as well as internal policies and procedures.Design and deliver HR training - Develop training materials on HR policies and practices and conduct sessions to ensure understanding and compliance.Maintain the QLeave register and ensure that reporting compliance is completed.Skills & Qualifications requiredMinimum 3 years' experience in Human ResourcesExperience in the construction industry – highly regardedExperience using HRIS system ELMO or similarKnowledge of Fair Work framework and Employment LegislationExcellent verbal and written communicationOrganisation and ability to maintain accurate and up to date recordsAbility to multi-task & prioritiseWhat's on offerCompetitive salary based on the successful candidate's experienceBase Salary + Super + KPI BonusA permanent position with a growing civil construction companyCareer progressionSponsorship is available for the right candidatePaternity LeavePaid Birthday Day offAbout UsSilverstrand is a privately owned company that provides high-quality civil engineering and construction services across Australia and Recent Zealand.
