Graham Thomson Motors is seeking an experienced Master Diesel Technician to join our team in Shepparton, VIC.
This is a full-time position with a Kenworth and DAF fanchised dealership that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of diesel vehicle maintenance and repair.
As a Master Diesel Technician, you will be at the forefront of our technical operations, providing expert diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel-powered vehicles.

The role will be well supported by long term staff and committment from a team envisonment.Key responsibilitiesDiagnose and repair complex diesel engine issues using advanced diagnostic equipment and techniquesPerform comprehensive maintenance services including servicing, fluid changes, filter replacements, and component inspectionsConduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide detailed reports on vehicle condition and required repairsRebuild and overhaul diesel engines and associated components to manufacturer specificationsTest repaired vehicles to ensure all work meets safety and performance standardsMentor and provide technical guidance to junior technicians and apprenticesMaintain accurate work records, timesheets, and technical documentationEnsure all work is completed in compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry standardWhat we're looking forTrade qualification or equivalent experience as a diesel mechanic or technician (minimum 5+ years in diesel-specific work)Proficiency with diagnostic scanning equipment and computer-based diagnostic systemsStrong knowledge of diesel fuel systems, turbochargers,
