Our mission is to create brighter futures by delivering high-quality, compassionate support services that make a genuine difference in the lives of those we serve.About the roleWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker - Supported Independent Living to join the Brighter Access team in Tamworth NSW.
This is a part-time position that offers flexibility whilst making a meaningful impact in the community.
In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with disabilities in their own homes or community settings, helping them to maintain independence, develop life skills, and participate actively in their local communities.
You will be instrumental in enabling our clients to achieve their personal goals and live fulfilling lives according to their own choices and preferences.Key responsibilitiesProvide personalised support to clients in their homes and community environments, assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household managementSupport clients to develop and maintain life skills, including budgeting, social skills, and community participationAssist clients in accessing community services, attending appointments, and engaging in social and recreational activitiesMaintain accurate and timely records of support provided, documenting client progress and any concerns that ariseCommunicate effectively with clients, their families, carers, and the wider Brighter Access team to ensure coordinated, person-centred supportPromote clients' independence, dignity,
