VEX Group Pty Ltd are seeking an organised and proactiveOnboarding / Training Officerto support our onboarding, training and workforce compliance processes.
This role will assist with new starter onboarding, pre-employment requirements, training records, induction uploads, uniform coordination, recruitment administration and general training support across the business.Working closely with the Training Coordinator and wider operations team, this position plays an important role in ensuring employees and subcontractors have a smooth, professional and compliant onboarding experience.What you will be doing:Coordinate seamless onboarding experiences for new employees and subcontractorsBook pre-employment checks and QLD Coal Board medicals through ResHealthManage employee training records, licences and certificates, ensuring records remain accurate, compliant and up to date, with refresher training booked as required.Coordinate new starter uniform and PPE orders as part of the onboarding processAssist with SEEK advertising and recruitment administration in line with business needs, working closely with DirectorsAssist the Training Coordinator with uploading inductions and training requirements as neededProvide a positive and professional experience for employees and subcontractorsMaintain skills and compliance matrices to support training requirements for shutdowns,



projects and general workforce needs.Assist with general office operations when requiredWhat we're looking for:Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detailClear and confident communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with employees, subcontractors, clients and internal stakeholdersIntermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel and WordAbility to manage competing priorities and follow tasks through to completionA proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn site systems and onboarding processesFamiliarity with BMA, Glencore induction systems and QLD Coal Board medicals is highly regardedPrevious experience in training administration, onboarding, mobilisation, recruitment administration or workforce compliance will be highly regardedWhat we offer:Permanent full time role, Monday–Friday with one RDO per monthBased in MackayJoin a close-knit team with a supportive culture and great people to work withAbout Us:VEX Group Pty Ltd is a local Mackay based and family orientated company that believe in putting their people first.
