We have a unique opportunity for a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager based at our Petbarn Kelmscott store.
This role will suit a pet-passionate retail leader looking to grow their career with a well-known and supportive brand.
Strong retail leadership experience is essential to be successful in this role.
You'll help pet parents and train your team to make the best choices for their furry, feathered, or scaly friends, offering expert advice on health, nutrition, and wellness products.
You'll create connections with our team and customers, build trust, and make a real impact on the lives of pets and their pet parents.
Your Role:
As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager to manage and maximize the overall success of the store.
You'll help create a customer-centric environment, achieve sales budgets, deliver consistent store standards, and manage costs.
Additionally, you will train and coach the store team to deliver service excellence and achieve business objectives.

About You:
A leader with a hands-on approachHave a natural love for animals and people, and passionate about retailAt least two years' experience working with a high-volume retailerHave strong retail management/ supervision (or similar), with a minimum 1-year experience in managementProven ability to lead a team with a focus on team engagementFriendly, patient, and eager to develop and train teamOrganised and detail-oriented with a focus on achieving KPI's

Qualifications
At least 1 year of rsimilar volume retail store management experience
