North East Steel is seeking a skilled and reliable Sheetmetal Worker to join our team.
This role involves the fabrication and preparation of sheetmetal products while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and workmanship.About the RoleThe successful applicant will be responsible for:Fabricating and assembling sheetmetal productsCutting, folding, and shaping sheetmetal componentsReading and interpreting drawings and measurementsUsing hand tools and workshop equipment safelyMoving and handling materials throughout the workshopEnsuring work is completed accurately and to a high standardMaintaining a clean and secure work environmentAssisting with general workshop duties when requiredRequirementsTo be successful in this role,



you will need:Experience in Sheetmetal fabrication or a related trade (preferred)Current forklift licence (essential)Ability to read and interpret drawings and measurementsGood attention to detail and pride in quality workmanshipStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independentlyPhysically fit and capable of manual handling tasksA strong commitment to workplace safety and teamworkHoursMonday to Friday7:00am – 4:30pmThis is a great opportunity to join a local business with a strong reputation in the steel industry and become part of a supportive team environment.
