Through meaningful work, strong mentorship and the opportunity to contribute to projects that leave a lasting impact.As a growing national consultancy, we are looking for motivated professionals who want to challenge themselves, develop their expertise and help shape how we work.As our Civil Engineer, you'll play an important role in supporting our people and clients, strengthening our team, contributing to the continued success of MLEI while building your own capability, influence and career.About the roleThis position is responsible for:Contribute to the delivery of civil engineering projects, including urban development, infrastructure, stormwater management, buildings and general civil worksPrepare and review design documentation, drawings, and reports in accordance with Australian standards and local authority requirementsUndertake civil design and modelling using software such as AutoCAD, DRAINS, MUSIC and 12dLiaise with clients, councils, and service authorities to support project outcomesAssist senior engineers with project planning, scheduling, and budgetingConduct site inspections and support construction phase services as requiredParticipate in quality assurance and safety processes, ensuring compliance with company standardsSeek opportunities for innovation and improvement in design and project deliveryWorking closely with colleagues across the business, you will provide professional expertise,

You bring sound judgement, a willingness to learn, and the confidence to take ownership of your responsibilities.You value strong relationships, communicate effectively, and understand the best outcomes are achieved when people work together with a shared purpose.Most importantly, you are motivated to develop your expertise and contribute to something bigger than yourself.What you bringTo contribute confidently in this role, you will bringMinimum Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering4+ years' local civil design experienceChartered or RPEQ status (or working towards) desirableProfessional Engineering registration (or eligibility to achieve this immediately) desirableProven track record in project delivery and client-facing rolesProficiency in design and analysis software including 12D design, AutoCAD, DRAINS and MUSICStrong understanding of relevant Australian Standards, NCC and local government requirementsThe ability to manage time,
