We seek motivated professionals to support our strong and growing project pipeline.At Red Earth Engineering, you will have the prospect to apply your academic and professional knowledge to the real world and Tier 1 energy and resource clients, at our offices located in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.Based at our Perth office – Level 6, 66 St Georges Terrace, Perth WA ****.Our Projects IncludeLarge Storage Facility Design - New, Existing, and Closure Life-cycle phasesMine site infrastructure design and water managementContaminated site groundwater management and remediationPumped hydroelectric projectsMine dewatering assessmentsCivil / construction dewatering assessmentsWater balance studiesEnvironmental impact assessments and investigationsSite groundwater risk reviews and third‐party groundwater reviewsEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesAct as a central point of contact for the Perth OfficeLead, Manage and deliver hydrogeological projectsLead the preparation of high-quality and strategically thought-out proposals, tenders, RFQs, scopes of work etcBe a key leader in the development of Perth Groundwater practice group and consulting servicesMainatin a healthy portfolio of projects that provide the basis to support the development practice groups to develop teamLead the development of innovative solutions for complex groundwater problems that the WA market is facing or could arise in the futureProvide industry leadership and promote the above services to the local marketWork with mentor(s) of your choice to grow your own career and receive support on strategies to achieve the above expectationsEducation and LicensureBachelor's degree in geology/earth science/geochemistry/hydrology or engineering or related field of study (required)Post graduate MSc or similar in hydrogeology (preferred)Skills, Experience And Qualifications7+ years of consulting experience.
(required)Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams.
(preferred)Demonstrated success in teamwork.
(preferred)Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
(required)Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting deadlines and budgets, and traveling to client facilities as neededHighly Regarded Skills & ExperiencePost graduate MSc or similar in hydrogeology (highly preferred)Strong GIS skills - ArcGIS, QGIS,
