The Health Promotion Officer may also work on projects from the Early Years & Ageing stream as required.
The HPO will primarily be responsible for working with the team to deliver all stages of planning, implementation, evaluation, reporting and sustainability of programs relating to physical and food environments that support health and programs that promote healthy eating, active living and healthy weight in adultsAre You the Right Fit?
The ideal candidate is a motivated and highly organised professional with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously while managing competing priorities.
You will have demonstrated experience in Health Promotion and a strong understanding of strategies that support positive health outcomes across diverse communities.
Your outstanding communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively engage with a broad range of stakeholders, including community members, health professionals, partner organisations and government agencies.
A collaborative and culturally responsive approach, combined with the ability to build meaningful relationships with people from diverse backgrounds, will be essential to success in this role.

with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and contributing to the achievement of organisational and community health objectives.Selection CriteriaTo help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.Tertiary qualifications in health or related field and demonstrated knowledge and experience in health promotion planning, implementation, evaluation and dissemination particularly relating to physical and food environments that support health and programs that promote healthy eating, active living and healthy weight in adults.Demonstrated knowledge and experience of current health promotion theory and evidence-based practice.Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain partnerships with other staff and government, non-government and community organisations.Effective organisational, problem solving and team skills including the ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2).
Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment.
