Job Type: Permanent position | Full time positionJob DescriptionBaxter Transport is currently recruiting for an experienced and qualified Motor Mechanic to join their service department located in Southern Riverina town of Berrigan NSW.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:Proven experience as Motor Mechanic /Automotive TechnicianInspect vehicle engine and mechanical components to diagnose issues accuratelyPerform scheduled services (oil changes, brake checks, tyre rotations)Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgradeMaintain detailed service logs and repair histories for each vehicleDocument parts used, labour hours, and service outcomesExtensive experience in repairs and maintenanceKeep the workshop clean, secure,



and organized.Assist with inventory management and ordering partsProvide technical advice and recommendations for vehicle replacements or upgradesMust adhere to WH&S; and environmental starndardsThe ability to perform scheduled maintenance servicingThe capacity to service and repair vehicles as per the repair order within the allocated timeGood verbal and written communications skillsSkills & Abilities:Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalentIdeally have a minimum of 3 years experience as a qualified Motor MechanicStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting skillsFamiliarity with telematics and predictive maintenance systemShow initiative to identify and solve problems individually or as part of a teamAbility to work independently or as part of a teamSalary range is $70,000 - $85,000 commensurate with experience.
Hours: fulltime.
