Cleared Recruitment are supporting a privately owned Australian Defence technology company seeking multiple Software Engineers across various levels of experience, from experienced engineers through to senior technical specialists, who hold baseline clearance or above.

You will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of advanced software capabilities supporting Australia's future Defence needs.Skills & ExperienceStrong software engineering experience with the ability to design, develop, test, and document clean, maintainable codeProficiency in programming languages including C++, C#, Java, and/or PythonExperience developing applications across Windows and/or Linux environmentsStrong problem-solving, analytical, and reasoning skillsExperience working across the software development lifecycleExperience with Defence systems or complex technical environments,



including areas such as:Weapons systemsElectronic WarfareCommand and Control systemsFlight systemsModelling and simulationExperience developing distributed and networked software systemsExperience with software integration and working across complex technical environmentsExposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI), Large Language Models (LLMs), intelligent systems, or AI-enabled software applicationsExperience with microservices, virtualisation, and containerisation technologiesFamiliarity with Atlassian tooling including Jira, Confluence, and BitbucketExperience working within Agile development and testing methodologiesCandidates with a willingness and eligibility to upgrade to TSPV clearance will be highly regarded.Experience fulfilling and captivating tasks within an environment that fosters growth and support in a dynamic and expanding organization.
