Our work is grounded in integrity, independence and service to the public and the profession.We are seeking a highly skilled and values‐driven Wellbeing Manager to lead and deliver its mental health and wellbeing strategy for the legal profession.
This is a rare opportunity to influence culture, build sector‐leading programs, and make a tangible difference to the wellbeing and resilience of legal practitioners across South Australia.Operating at the intersection of strategy, service delivery and professional engagement, this role suits a practitioner who combines clinical credibility with robust program leadership and stakeholder capability.The OpportunityAs Wellbeing Manager, you will have responsibility for the Law Society's wellbeing strategy, including the coordination and delivery of mental health and wellbeing services, professional support programs (including LawCare), mentoring programs and initiatives that promote positive workplace culture across the legal profession and within the Society itself.Reporting to the Director, Ethics & Practice, you will play a trusted advisory and delivery role—translating evidence‐based practice into practical,



accessible programs that support practitioners across diverse practice settings.In this role, you will:Lead the planning, development and delivery of the Law Society's mental health and wellbeing strategyCoordinate professional support, counselling and practitioner assistance services, including LawCareDesign and deliver wellbeing, resilience and positive workplace culture initiatives, workshops and campaignsApply trauma‐informed and evidence‐based approaches across all programs and servicesIdentify trends, risks and opportunities impacting practitioner wellbeing, with a focus on primary preventionBuild and manage strong partnerships with external service providers and sector stakeholdersEnsure service provider agreements are reviewed, renewed and monitored for quality and valueContribute to education, publications and thought leadership on wellbeing in the legal professionUse data and evaluation to continuously improve program effectiveness and impactAbout YouYou are a highly capable wellbeing professional who brings clinical expertise together with strategic thinking and practical delivery.
You are confident working with senior professionals, comfortable navigating sensitive issues, and motivated by improving systems and culture—not just individual outcomes.You will bring:A degree qualification in psychology,



with at least 5 years' post‐graduate experienceCurrent AHPRA registrationDemonstrated experience delivering corporate or profession‐wide mental health and psychosocial wellbeing programsStrong expertise advising on psychological wellbeing in workplace, HR or WHS contextsA sound understanding of trauma‐informed practice, vicarious trauma and psychosocial riskExcellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skillsStrong analytical and project management capability, with the ability to manage competing prioritiesA professional, discreet and compassionate approach when handling confidential and sensitive mattersMost importantly, you are purpose‐driven.
